Good advice for hand-dyed yarn

All hand dyed yarn is unique and cannot be reproduced exactly from dye to dye. Even in the same color baths, shade differences can occur. I therefore recommend always knitting with yarn from two different weights alternately. In this way, you avoid color differences/"Pooling" in the finished knit.

Read more about "Pooling" here .

We also recommend that you always make sure to buy enough yarn for your project at the same time to make sure it comes from the same dye. This minimizes the risk of color differences. Should it happen that there is not enough yarn in stock in the webshop, send me an email and I can add this to the shop.

Wash
Always read what is written on the banner. Hand-dyed yarn in dark and saturated colors may contain a bit of excess color in the first wash, although it is always rinsed thoroughly before sale. Avoid leaving the yarn in water for a long time and always use detergent intended for wool. A little bit of vinegar in the water does not make the colors bleed and is recommended when light and dark colors are in the same knit.
