Washing wool requires only a small amount of soap - follow the washing instructions on the bottle and always follow the washing instructions for the yarn you have knitted in. The following should be seen as a general guide.

Instructions for hand washing:

1. Fill a tub with about 20 degrees warm water and a little wool soap (about 1 tablespoon for 5 liters of water).
2. Leave the elastic in the water for 15 minutes - or the time it takes you to drink a cup of coffee. Do not rub or scrub, but simply leave the elastic in the water.
3. Rinse the soap out of the elastic.
4. Centrifuge the elastic in the washing machine (at 800-1200 revolutions) so that the water is ejected. Important! Always test on a sample patch first. If you don't have a washing machine, roll the elastic in a towel so that the water is squeezed out.
5. Lay the elastic flat on a towel. Adjust the fit so that it has the correct measurements (as indicated in the recipe).
6. Let dry.

Application: 20 ml per 2.5 kg dry wash for all levels of water hardness.
