Knitting for Olive Merino consists of 100% pure merino wool. The wool comes from sheep in Patagonia, where mulesing does not take place. The wool can be traced directly back to the farm it comes from. In this way, you know exactly which farm, which farmers and which sheep the wool comes from.
Merino wool has a wide range of good properties. The wool is temperature regulating. This means that the wool retains body heat in cold weather, and gives off heat when the skin needs to be kept cool in hot weather. At the same time, like silk, wool can transport moisture away from the skin, and wool can absorb 30% of its weight without feeling wet.
Wool is also dirt-repellent and requires minimal care.
The yarn is produced in Italy. The spinning mill follows ethical and environmentally correct procedures to create a yarn without harmful substances.

Knitting tension: 28 mx 38 p / 10 x 10 cm
Running length: 250 m / 50 g
Washing instructions: hand wash - dry flat
