Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair is a soft, luxurious blend of the finest Kid Mohair and Mulberry silk.
The mohair wool comes from South Africa, where the yarn is also produced locally.
Our wool is traceable back to the farm, which means that we know exactly which farms, farmers and goats our wool comes from.
The yarn is produced with great consideration for animal welfare and social responsibility. Our spinning mill follows ethical and environmentally correct practices, which creates a yarn without harmful substances.
The yarn is STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified
We recommend that mohair be used with care for children under 1 year of age, as mohair is a shaggy yarn, and the mohair fibers can be a bit of a nuisance for the child to get in the mouth.
Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair can be advantageously used as a trailing thread.
Fiber content: 70% kid mohair / 30% silk
Recommended needle: 2.5-5 mm
Knitting gauge: 28 sts / 10 cm on needle 3
Running length: approx. 225 m / 25 g
Washing instructions: hand wash - dry flat
